My name is Suying Dai Peck, which goes for Daisy Peck in Ascent Academy. I am so excited to be one of the Ascent Academies big family in Lehi. I received my BA in Language Arts and American Literature in Zhengzhou University which is one of the top universities in China. I taught English in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing in Zhengzhou University for 30 years since 1985. While still teaching in Zhengzhou University, I had an opportunity to come to America on an exchange teaching program in Utah—only teaching mandarin in dual immersion classes. And since 2012, I had the chance teaching Chinese in Jordan School District and AISU in Murray for 5 years. I believe my teaching experiences both in China and America will help me to better understand and communicate with the students in my work in Ascent Academy.

   When I am not teaching and working, I like cooking, reading novels, and spending time with family. My husband and I like biking, swimming playing golf during spring, autumn and summer and sometimes just walking along Jordan River to enjoy the wonderful outdoor life.
