Hello! My name is Anna Yerman, and I'm thrilled to be joining the Ascent Academy team! I knew I wanted to become a special education  teacher when I interned at an Autism-specific Elementary as a high-schooler. I have been on this path ever since, and it has been amazingly rewarding. There is nothing as magical to me as getting to see something click for a child who has been working hard.

   I am originally from Utah, but I moved all over the country growing up, and I love the adventure of getting to know new places. I spend my weekends visiting family, doing projects, and exploring Provo's scenery with my husband. I am looking forward to a great year!
