I have had a great time being a part of the Ascent Junior High team. I am the youngest of 5 with New England roots. Originally from Rhode Island, I moved out West and I spent my childhood in Provo. I then spent my junior high and high school years in Mud Lake, Idaho. 

I completed my B.S. in Business Management in 2014 at BYU-Idaho, after which I completed my M.S. in Sport Management at The University of Southern Mississippi. During that time, I worked as a student assistant for both their college football and basketball programs. It has been great to get to know coaches and players at the high school, college,and professional level of sports. I loved being involved with student/athlete life, and seeing the connection between athletics and education change lives. As a CTE teacher, I hope my passion for athletics and business will help drive creativity and expand career exploration for all of my CTE students. 

My wife was born and raised in Mississippi, and has had a great time experiencing Utah after completing service in the Air Force. We now reside in West Jordan, and have a 3 year old boy who is the greatest! We love the outdoors here, hanging out with old friends, and love to travel. I enjoy competing in Spartan and other trail races, and am excited to travel the states competing in them in the future. I’m a sports junkie, a foodie, and love exploring new cultures, especially the history and connection between food and culture.
