I grew up in Mexico until the age of 15. After that, I lived in East Los Angeles where I attended high school, and after graduation I moved to Utah. In 1998 I moved to Maryland to be close to family. I started my general studies at the College of Southern Maryland, and I moved back to Utah in 2006 to complete my degree at Utah State University. I graduated from USU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics education and a minor in Spanish teaching.
I have 3 kids. Two of them are college students, and my youngest will be starting high school this year. Our family’s favorite things to do together are going on road trips, hiking, watching movies, playing games, eating out, etc. I love the Oregon Coast, so every year I plan a trip there to relax and enjoy its beauty. I also like dancing, and this year I have the opportunity to be in the West Coast Swing Team.
