My name is Calli Melling. I am very excited to start my third year teaching sixth grade at Ascent Academy. I love being a part of the Ascent Academy family. It is a wonderful place to be! From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I hope to instill a love for learning in my students, as we participate in hands-on learning and collaborative activities. I believe that every student can excel and learn. I love being in the classroom, and I feel blessed to be a small part of my students' educational journey. I love teaching!

I was raised in Lehi, Utah. I am married to my high school sweetheart. I am the second child of four sisters, and I consider them to be my best friends. In my spare time, I love to run, spend time outdoors, play board games, spend time with my family, play the violin, and play pickleball. I also enjoy traveling and seeing the world.
