You should do what you love and love what you do and that is why I’m a teacher! I am thrilled to welcome a new group of third graders to love and educate!
I consider myself a “California girl” because that’s where I was born but I was raised just outside of Washington DC in Sterling Virginia. I am the third child of six and have two sisters (one is an angel sister) and three brothers. I attended Brigham Young University and received my Elementary Education degree and while there met and married my husband, Mark. I always wanted to be a mother and a teacher and I am incredibly blessed I am both. My children include four sons, a daughter, and a beautiful and energetic black lab named Kylo.
Our family has lived in Missouri and Virginia and settled in Utah in 2009. I taught for two years at Learning Dynamics Preschool and have been a third grade teacher since 2013.
Teaching third grade is awesome because I get to dance, sing, and introduce the students to fantastic concepts like multiplication and division! Our class motto is “We can do hard things” and we do but we have fun while we work! I strive to create a safe and loving environment where students find learning to be thrilling and engaging.
It’s going to be an amazing year in Mrs. Aldridge’s room!
